Elsevier Clinical Solutions provides evidence-based skills and resources to nurses to support consistent, quality care. The assignment was to provide new brand positioning and a visual identity that connects with this audience while aligning with the master Elsevier brand.
Through qualitative research we learned that nurses are passionate about their work and motivated to help others. In an environment full of the unexpected, nurses thrive when they feel in control. But, it’s a never-ending job to find the latest best practices, verify it, then incorporate it into practice.
Understanding these key insights provided the inspiration we needed. The new brand positioning appeals to the rational side of our audience, which puts nurses in control of fulfilling their passion.
The visual execution was inspired by textbook design. Iconography, infographics and white space make for a clean and pragmatic aesthetic, while portrait-style photography portrays nurses as confident and empowered.

We’ve all seen them. Those completely confusing lab results you get after any medical test. Most of the time you look at the results with little to no understanding of what anything means. And rarely is there more detail or a personal note from your doctor to explain any of it.
With the prioritization of coordinated care through patient engagement, this re-imagined lab report not only give’s patients their lab results in a clear and visual way, it also explains what the results mean, provides actionable recommendations and uses elements of active learning to promote behavior change.

WS Development is a high-end developer that creates open-air retail centers blending upscale shops and restaurants with outdoor art and public spaces. They needed a brand refresh to better tell their story and share their unique approach to development.
Mood boards were created as visual inspiration to learn how the company would describe its personality. Characteristics included “craftsmen,” “authentic,” “approachable” and “understated.” These insights provided a clear sense of the corporate voice and a potential visual aesthetic to match.
The final brand toolkit does more than showcase the spaces WS builds. Each brand element was carefully constructed to highlight the unique experiences WS curates for their tenants and communities, creating asense of place for every sense.

Meet the SAP Opportunity Cloud. Its a web app that taps in to Twitter and filters current tweets by popular categories within different industries to see what hashtags are most popular at a given time. Tweets can be filtered by sentiment in order to gain additional insights on the topic. A custom report or dashboard would analyze the content explored, highlight key insights and business opportunities and connect them to specific SAP solutions.
